Star Wars: Green Squad Stuff

So some time ago I came up with an idea: Star Wars meets the Teenage Mutant Ninja (Hero) Turtles. I'd been really enjoying the Republic Commando novels, and I wanted to play in that particular pool. The Turtles, I thought, would fit fantastically into the Four Clone Combatants mold. So I started working.

That's a really hard concept to write, turns out. Mostly I ended up writing about Master Shi, my vague equivalent to Master Splinter. It's on my laundry list of things to finish. And so, here, are some attempts at creating this.

Of Stars, and also Wars...

Here's a little more Star Wars fic I wrote, also uncompleted (though I at least have a basic plot for the rest of this one mapped out, so I might just finish it). You may notice the recurring theme of Mandalorians in my work. This is because I'm a terrible hack.

Some crummy Star Wars Fan-Fic (unfinished)

A Long Time Ago, In A Galaxy Far, Far Away….

The sickening smack of armored fist against unprotected flesh was a sound not even the near deafening cacophony emanating from Juren’s Repairs could drown out. The proprietor did his best to stay out of people’s affairs, but recent events had made that difficult. Having returned to his homeworld of Talus nearly a year before, he’d watched as the quiet farming community he’d grown up in slowly transformed into the sort of retched hive of inequity and discord children were warned away from.

“Please, I’ll pay, I swear, just let me go,” called a pained voice from the street out front.

Secret Origins: Cuyir Vercopa

Everyone has a different method for creating a character for Dungeons and Dragons. Some people start with a class they'd like to play and roll from there. Some build the most powerful guy they can so they can do some damage. A friend of mine starts with a name and builds the character around that.

I like to build from the ground up. I figure out who this person IS, long before I get to what he can do. Even after I have most of the broad strokes down, I like to get into his head a little, rearrange the furniture. In the spirit of doing just that, today we're taking a look at one of the biographies I wrote.

Join me after the jump for the who of:

Plowing Along

So I'm currently working on my next Comic Making Endeavor. That involves writing, mostly, but also character design. I have... mixed feelings about character design. More after the jump.

NOTE: at one point I was THIS CLOSE to DMing an adventure for my friends. They had fleshed out characters and I had a plot and everything. Then life got in the way. Since it's never to be (and I'd do it differently now anyway) Here's the lead in text I wrote for Session One...
